Rock, pop, country and contemporary Christian is my current aim, though my style can range from soft ballads to heavy metal.
Brief history: I've been writing songs since 1978, spanning various genres. Most tend to fall into the pop/adult contemporary category. For the past several years, I've turned my focus more to Contemporary Christian music; it's what I enjoy listening to, and it gives my music some real meaning and purpose ... at least to me ... and hopefully to those who listen to it. Looking back now, I see religious connotations in some of my older material, as well.

Lyrics
They say you’re never quite prepared for the change They say before too long your life will rearrange Despite all the ups and downs and the run-around They wouldn’t change a thing They’d do it all again And when it comes time, you’re gonna find CHORUS: I’ve got a lot of love to give you I’ve got dreams enough to share I’ve got things I want to show you And time enough to spare I’ve got loving arms to hold you And to take you anywhere But from what I’ve heard I’ve got a lot to learn They say you’re gonna be an angel in disguise They say you might have your momma’s face and daddy’s eyes No matter how life unfurls in this changing world You know we’ll always be a part of you And you’ll be a part of us, too That won’t ever change, so hear what I say [CHORUS] I’ve got your future in my hands And I’ve got to start making plans now I’ll do the best I can now, whoa whoa [CHORUS] —Copyright 2002 Mark Wallace
