I will say it again this is not a proper band.I do have a proper band,a duo, really (I actually have two),but again is not what people usually would call a band.
Not really a band. Only little old me. But the fact it's that is open to other people to join if they want to.Usually they don't.So it is a solo act, but it's more of a project than me being all singer-songwriterish...kind of complicated. Kind of hip as well, I suppose. It isn't intentional. I started thinking about this before knowing about Bright Eyes, or Badly Drawn Boy or Iron&Wine and that kind of stuff.

Story behind the song
Philosophy (Early 2002) Inspired by:When I see a post-it I have to write song lyrics on it.It’s some kind of manical urge.I was at work-I swear I was working-but you know the office is full of post-its...so since I was pretty fast on doing what was assigned to me I took the time to scribble down these lyrics-exactly as they are here-another miracle à la Snail Mail-not took the time like stopping to do what I was doing...more like writing a name (I do data entry)then a line, then an address, then another line...I’m multitasking hehehe! Anyway now I’m used to post-its,but the first times I HAD to write two or three songs (and one or less was usually good)every fucking day. When:Between 3 and 7. Where:Office. Music: Found out,the same week, some weird chord I don’t know the name of.It fitted with the song. Also I just bought a capo so I was experimenting with it.
Lyrics
A treasure to behold Is really a good purpose A tiny hand to hold With fingers like a rose They fold around the sun And try to catch a ray And when the day is done Into your hear they lay And when the rose is blooming Don’t try to catch a star Just look at what the life Is giving and not too far
