As often, I had composed the melody before the lyrics, and as often, I did not think about the text and just wrote what came to my head. The rest was easy... :)

Slowly she strayed on the sparkling beach To an aim she did not know Where the mermaids sang, where the lightning rang Through the graveyards of the sea. When the winter winds turned the world to ice They went fishing on the sea Though the clouds turned black and the thunder roared When the lightning burnt the sea.
