Austin Martini is a homage reference to a certain secret agent character featured in over 20 action motion pictures, who drives a fast silver British sportscar and has been known to prefer to drink Martinis shaken, not stirred. It is not intended to be a reference in anyway to a city in Texas or Minnesota. The sound of this one man band has been discribed as the kind of music that one might here played live on a piano in a fine department store. With one major exception. It is completely improvised. Pulling flowing melodies and chord progressions from the soul. Think of it as mental watercolors painting pictures in your mind. It is a very relaxing sound. Some may be drawn into its hypnotic depths. Others may find it hard to stay awake. It is an acquired taste. It is original.

Story behind the song
This song was thrown together in about two hours from conception to execution. It was originally going to have a gymnasium pep rally sound but when it was finished I thought that it would work better in the background of a film with two people having a showdown in an automated factory, chasing each other, playing hide and seek. A bang your dead kind of scene. Could be an undercover police officer or it could be an international spy or even industrial espionage. It has a high-tech industrial feel. Almost like something from a cyborg movie. It is in a short form here. Which would be good for a commercial or televison theme. It can easily be lengthened to any length going to various progressions and variations.
