Story behind the song
Was written during one of the most lowest moments in my life. Actually written as a prayer to the Lord in my journal but ended up strangely being a song! My life was so completely broken, that it was just a cry of my heart asking the Lord to take the pieces and just consume me, giving me the strength to look beyond the pain and realizing that it's part of the Lord's process in refining me into becoming more like Him. My prayer that even as you listen to it, that you'd go beyond the song and look towards the Lord of the song, to touch your life, no matter where you're from and no matter what you've done. He can do anything with anyone. He'll make your life beautiful out of the ashes you offer Him.
