hiphop christianrap underground rap urban ministry soulfire hiphop ministry street ministry
Soulfire consists of tight beats, and fresh rhymes that'll minister to your mind all the time.
Currently, Soulfire is made up of two rappers, Echo(Lindsay Shores) and ProKlaima (Shannon Shores). Members of Soulfire consider themselves to be nothing more than servants of Christ who want to restore men by bringing them into a relationship with The Way, The Truth, and The Life. Soulfire's mission is not to make a name for themselves, or to become the most popular rap group known. Soulfire seeks to go into the streets, homeless shelters, youth centers and other places to minister. This includes those un-evangelized parts of the world to let them know of the only name on earth by which men can be saved. (Acts 4:12). Soulfire gives all glory to God for what He has allowed us to do so far, thanks to those who have allowed them to partner with them in ministry, and is looking forward to the future. God is the vine, and we acknowledge we can do nothing apart from Him as we are His branches.

Story behind the song
This song is about the struggles and frustrations we have fought through to spread the message through the avenue of Hip-Hop. The title is taken directly from Jeremiah 20:9 in the bible. This scripture is about a prophet who spoke truth and was not well recieved because of it. No matter what we face as Christians, if we truly love Christ, than his story should burn in us like a fire we cannot contain. It was true for Jeremiah and is true for us as well.
