Got2Remember are led by Father and Son team Niles and Nathan Hailstones. Originally formed as a Djembe Drumming group in 2001 to pass on the wealth of the African Drum and Oral Tradition to future generations. After working in schools,colleges and local events in the community it became clear that todays youth had little or no knowlegde of the roots and culture of storytelling. As Father and Son G2R represent a return to tradition and come at a time when positive images are few and far between.G2R Use African rhythms fused with Hip Hop,Jazz,R&B and Reggae, to reintroduce our community to the iStory of the Drum, and the tradition of Word,Sound & Power!
