Hi folks. I have added a lot of videos recently. Please take a look!
Hi folks, This site acts as a personal archive of my work. So you'll find my best recordings here as well as some pretty crappy ones. The earliest recordings here were made on simple cassette decks, others were made on mobile phones, some are live recordings made at various gigs over the years, a handful were made in small recording studios, but most of the more recent ones were made at home on a Zoom portable studio, which itself is now rather ancient! If you like a song and want to download it, click on 'Full song info' for that song and you will see the download link. You can also read the lyrics and any background information on the songs that I may have added. All my music is available for free - enjoy :) cheers, Charles

Lyrics
Sometimes when I'm alone Like so many times before I take off all my clothes And I roll on the floor But I'm not crazy - no I'm just getting nowhere with you And when friends come around Why there should be joy in the air But I'm standing in the corner With a vacant stare But I'm not stoned - no no I'm just getting nowhere with you Oh I'm banging my head on that old brick wall Just hoping and praying that someday it'll fall And if my brains shatter Why it - it really wouldn't matter at all Night-time comes I need a little rest So I lie down on my bed Cause that's the place I like best But I don't sleep - no no I just get nowhere with you Oh yes I'm banging my head on that old brick wall Just hoping and praying that someday it'll fall And if my brains shatter Why it - it really wouldn't matter at all - ooo Night-time comes I need a little rest So I lie down on my bed Cause that's the place I like the best But I don't sleep - no no I just get nowhere with you!
