Story behind the song
Song Description: This is Talos Genesis and is not the first track but actually the second. The first one is "Hephaestus song". In this song Hephaestus the Greek god of fire and anything that is created by human labour using his hammer and his servant demigods and other creatures creates Talos piece by piece. Hephaestus consider Talos as his only child , a child who encaptulates the Greek God's gentle heart. Album Description: Talos is an album devoted to Talos an ancient Greek iron robot built by gods and and assigned as the protector of the island of Crete. According to ancient Greek Myths Talos was a huge robot created by Hephaestus himself the ancient Greek God of blacksmiths and hardworking workers. Even though in Greek Myths Talos is depicted like a mindless machine in this album Talos is an Giant iron robot with the gentle heart symbolising the fight between technology and humanity. He has being protected the villages of Crete for many centuries . He has been the favourite of all Cretan people including the King Minoa himself. Under the protection of Talos the Island of Crete grow to the size of an empire where freedom and art were flourishing ( actually this is a historical fact for Cretan cilisation which has been one of the oldest 5000 years old if I am not mistaken) . The story ends with the arrival of the famous Argonauts who were the only ones with the help of the famous greek witch Medea to destroy Talos and end one the Greatests civilisations.
