Tough West Side Chicago Blues
deutschlands urbluesband
Das Dritte Ohr has been the first blues band ever in Germany and has been the foremost exponent of that style since then. Founder Udo Wolff's vision has always been to express his own experiences using the musical expressiveness of the blues - even more to do so in his own language so people can understand the lyrics and connect to the stories in the songs. In the late 70s and early 80s the band has been something like the "official" backing band for touring U.S. blues artists like J.B.Hutto, Eddy Clearwater, Johnny Littlejohn, Sunnyland Slim and James Booker, just to name a few - the best education in blues you'll ever get!

Story behind the song
We always wanted to do a minor West Side style Blues, and the haunting story inspired the music.
