Welcome to my page here at Soundclick. I'm a guitarist and composer, jazz mostly but I do wander into some more eclectic things on occasion. Been retired from State of Illinois since 2014. Story behind the song
I had just started the job I still work at, this being back in July of '91. My Dad had just been diagnosed with Cancer. At that same time, there was a co-worker who started when I did and had not passed his probationary period. He put a note in everybody's mailbox before leaving which read, "color me gone". So I guess the song's indirectly for my Dad, even though I already wrote him one.
