Out of the Darkness

A howl of teenage lust for freedom. Features overdubbed accidental guitar solo, based on Steve Hillage, but less skillful (obviously).
punk psychedelic scotland shambolic
Psychedelic punky stuff from rural Scotland
Seminal (careful with that there word, boy) rural punk band from early 80s Galloway (Scotland), line-ups have come and gone over the years but we have tried to remain true to our ethos: "Four chords good, three chords best". As the available pool of contemporary local musical talent has gone into retirement the average age of the band has reduced. This year it is 28!

Lyrics
Feel it rising from the suburbs Feel it falling on dumb ears Feel it trembling in excitement Feel its face dampened by tears. Hear it crying in the wilderness Hear it sighing in the trees Hear it flying over the city Hear it trying to overcome. See it turning in its agony See it burning at the stake See it learning to be innocent See it scorning all the fakes. Taste its bitter scorn of emptiness Taste its sour flowing cream Taste its angry cry of outrage Taste the chaotic angel’s scream. Smell the stench of guilty history Smell the threatening hint of fear Smell the scent of fractured laughter Smell the concrete cowboy’s leer.
