Story behind the song

It was lights out, and once again Travis was alone with his thoughts. Wondering if he would ever see the world the same way again. He could feel his life in Prison changing him day by day. All his hopes were on his appeal and frankly it didn’t look too good. Contact with his lawyer was becoming more and more infrequent and uneventful. It was as if time took on a whole new meaning here behind these walls. In the dark he could still see how he got caught up in the chain of events that landed him here. Aiding and abetting, accomplice after the fact, still it meant ‘Partner in Crime’. If only he could wake up and shake off this nightmare - things would be different. The lack of silence kept him from thinking and his eyes felt as if they would never tear again - could he be slowly going mad?  --- Something different with guitars, pianos, harps, strings, and interesting percussion - of course.
