Story behind the song
This piece is harmonically perhaps the simplest and shortest of all the pieces I have written. Yet it is one of my favourite pieces. To me it expresses something much bigger than it's simplicity. Folk Prelude was written in 1999 as gift for Suzanne Marsh, who is now my wife Suzanne Sear...see it does pay to write music. Thanks for taking the time to read. Please feel free to leave a comment. All the best Matthew
