WELL...IM CARLOS, PEOPLE CALL ME CALOI OR CALOY.. I started out as a member of a rock band during high school years in Don Bosco Technical High School, ABRAHAMS BOSOM..mostly the songs we made before were alternative songs..then i went on with this up to college while i progressively went to writing blues, and grunge metal, to progressive with the project band 8DOZENMOTHERS, well, I was blessed to have worked with musicians/guys like Luigi Colmenares, Dennis Castillo, ADrian Godornes, Shannon Chongbian, JAde Abellaneda, Teroy Agujar, Totep Fronteras, Eric?(chinese looking guy with glassses), Dodge Belleza and a lot more, during those Rock and roll days...well the shift from Rock to ballads. R N B to POP just came after the end of my fifth year in college when I just decided to let that part of me flow right through me..listening to artist like Baby face, Mrian Mcknight, Boys 2 Men, Jodeci, as well as gospel singer Smokie Norful, brought me to the realization that ive got to try going easy this time, minus the angst...and so far, it has become my therapy 2001 we started to form a group which was later known as LICK which I have truly gone to treasure up to this very day because of the ups and downs we went through. Initially there was Keith Omega on drums, BAds gonzalez on guitar, John PAul Gawchua on bass, me on keybaords and Aldwin Rondina on Vocals..and all was splendid..managed by Orlando Cajegas, the sky was the limit..together the song WISH came to a realization. Changes in the band line up brought us Marg CArangue and OWen Cartagena, both very good singers in their own right, plus the addition of SAm Codilla on drums to DAve Dionson, we were having fun, but it came with a price at the end. Career paths parted the group, which apparently brought me here in the US..but music, my core, my soul remains the same..its still there, and its burning fine.
