Story behind the song
Leaving the island for further education in the US. It was easy to dedicate this CD "Something Special" to my home Bermuda. I was born and raised on the Island and performed in most of the elite hotels. This particular song was co-written by Kenneth Dawson and myself. We both invested and produced this song for the Bermuda Department of Tourism hoping they would consider using it to promote the island. Jay Fox thought this would get international exposure. And, of course regaining our investment for our efforts. The song is about a man coming home from work and surprising his wife with "Something Special". He taking her to an unexpected romantic trip to Bermuda.
