Raj has been involved in worship ministries and in local Christian music scenes for over 15 years now .He has not only a deep passion for worship but also to see the Malaysian Christian Music Scene taken to a greater height for the Glory of the Lord. Apart from having a full-time career in Creative Technologies, He is also serving as a songwriter/musician/worship leader and a producer. He has produced a worship album entitled “In You Lord” which is the first contemporary worship album recorded and launched in Malacca. All songs were recorded live. There are 9 songs in the album, out of which 8 were written by Raj Kumar (RJ). The songs in the album are catchy and can be easily sung for worship in churches. By the grace of God,The albums have sold copies in Australia, Indonesia, Mauritius and South Africa and have touched lives all around these countries. Among the favorites in that album is “Jesus I Love you” which is sung today in many churches in Malaysia.This album captures the heart of worship in a City Church. The songs in the album connects anyone to God in simple and yet profound way as it speaks of His faithfulness,Love & Mercy RJ has also been involved in Planetshakers Malaysia and Youth Alive Malaysia (YAM) where he plays bass for the YAM Band. RJ is currently managing and promoting a vibrant progressive Christian Rock Band called “PG165”. Their debut album is due to be released in December 2006.
