HI. We're Brian Mauer and Ben Verson. We've been writing, recording and performing music for over 35 years together. What do we call it? HMMMMMMMMMM, we're not sure. We incorporate any and all styles. We hope you will find that we have succeeded in homogenizing a unique style. Influences range from classic rock (Beatles, Who, Zeppelin) to Folk, slip in a bit of bluegrass, and an equal amount of metal, and you get...Something, without a name.

Story behind the song
The FDP (Fender Discussion Page) posted a challenge to songwriters: Write a song about a kitchen appliance, using only 4 chords, and it has to have a pot or pan in the mix. This is our submission.
Lyrics
Midnight in the empty kitchen my Blender spinning out a drink. The phone’s in suspended animation by The dishes piled in the sink. (Chorus) I talk to the refrigerator As the ice tumbles to the floor The microwave is the mediator Since you walked out the door It’s day 32 and I got no clue about you. It’s day 32 and I just can’t see my way through. Since the light went out Since the light went out Since the light went out on you. It’s a month since you and I have parted. But the moment seems so nstrange. Our love once simmered, now it’s empty hearted. Seven seconds that I wish I could change. (Chorus) The dishwasher tries to comfort, but it’s Just a stupid machine. A jet dry, jet set, Maytag mistress No setting for my heart to come clean. (Chorus)
