So long! ........................................ ........................................ *BIOGRAPHY* Aksys is a rock band hailing from Trois-Rivieres, PQ. The band's newest cd "Diary Of A Schizophrenic" is a collection of 14 original songs that are energetic and catchy. Here's the story behind this cd : This is a story of a schizophrenic World War II soldier who wrote down his life in a diary. All songs represent a critical page of his life, a memory of this man. Having predisposition to schizophrenia, his sad childhood combined with the horrors of war ignited the sickness, leading to a life of torment. The only good thing given to him was the love of Kathryn, The only important person in his life. They shared each others life during the best years of his life until he received his diagnosis of schizophrenia. Trapped in a white room under medication, he found out a terrible truth : Kathryn had never existed except in his sick mind... Is it better to continue living his sick life with his love or to be under medication, cured and alone? Is it worth living knowing that the only way to bring back the love of his life is to drown in schizophrenia? "Diary Of A Schizophrenic" will be independently release in 2008 and then, the band will be hitting the road big time.
