HI. We're Brian Mauer and Ben Verson. We've been writing, recording and performing music for over 35 years together. What do we call it? HMMMMMMMMMM, we're not sure. We incorporate any and all styles. We hope you will find that we have succeeded in homogenizing a unique style. Influences range from classic rock (Beatles, Who, Zeppelin) to Folk, slip in a bit of bluegrass, and an equal amount of metal, and you get...Something, without a name.

Story behind the song
Story of a love going bad, where the protagonist is sneaking off in the middle of the night, forever leaving his current love for another, but highly conflicted about it, and questioning his motivations, even as he leaves (the leaving is compulsive).
Lyrics
I never meant to leave you this way Every tender mercy makes me want to stay - Forever and Ever. Westward wind that carries my soul away Could only lift my breaking heart today - Forever and Ever. (Bridge) Any other person might be angry If I could feel, I might have felt it too. (Chorus) Heart of Lace so lovely, fragile and ever so true. Souls that once melted together bleed through. Every measure of your charity Lingers like a vapor over me - Forever and Ever. My wildest dreams could never believe The power of your haunted love I see - Forever and Ever. Lower my defenses carelessly, as you’re fading in the distance silently. (Bridge) Any other person would not trust me. If I could trust my feelings, I wouldn’t too. (Chorus) All the love I offered you so sweetly Swept upon the crest of another heart - Forever and Ever. Even as I leave you so discreetly My sorrow tells me we shouldn’t part - Forever and Ever. (Bridge) Any other sanity would question If I were sane, I would question me too. (Chorus) 3X
