Story behind the song

I wrote the original song in 1996/97 - but it had no interesting story or message (it was about seeing a new girl in school and falling in love with her.) I had a "Band" (not really a band) at this time with my best friend Kathy called "Providence" I played it on a keyboard back then and we recorded it with a cassette recorder. Now I rewrote the lyrics and produced the track with my computer.

his girl was pregnant,
his life full of joy.

Nothing could stop him
he was working hard. 
To give his family all what they want.

Bought a house 
as he won´t bother
and furnished a room
for his unborn daughter.

Still thinking ´bout his daddy life
and his black haired and pretty wife.

But then he saw her, at his bar
so pretty and young.
But he knew - that he never
could love her...

As time went by
they fell in love.
And he often asked the man above,
why things just turned out how they are
and why he just can´t be with her.

so he accepted ignoring her
and is never thinking of his bar girl.
