Story behind the song
I don't have the heart that I should for those who are lost. People are hurting and desperate and searching. As a christian, I have the answer, I know what they're looking for. But I don't share it as readily, as I should. I should be anxious to share the good news with anyone who will listen. It's easier for me to share the gospel in a song, and I thank the Lord that He has blessed me with the gift to do so. But I know that it is no substitute for personally sharing it with others.
