Ice falls from the sky at last. I have awaited Winter's arrival for an eternity, and now I shall wait again. The dark ones will never find me here. I have erased myself. I am alone. I am hiding in the frostbitten depths of a desolate tower. The sky outside has faded to grey, a sign of fear and despair. They have followed my steps through the icefields, but they cannot survive the Winter winds. The frost will surely kill them. And I will be left here alone, awaiting the first signs of light... and life.
