Story behind the song

When my daughter Karen told me she was migrating to Australia with her husband, I was broken hearted. I ran to the feet of Jesus in brokenness. After spending 20 years with her, she finally had to leave us and took away a chunk of my heart. The Lord comforted me and gave me this song. I hope it will comfort you too.The Lord is close to a broken and  contrite heart.
