Story behind the song
I wanted to write something that actually depicted the feeling a new believer receives when they have found out that God has forgiven them and they have another chance to make things right in their lives.
Lyrics
2 good 2 B tru (John Redmon) Your love’s so unconditional It makes my joy unspeakable. Brings hope for my tomorrow When I’m drinking my cups of sorrow. Your grace so amazing For it Your praise I’m raising. O please just let me go on… So kind. You wipe away all my tears Gentle. You whisper away my fears Faithful. In my weakest hour You let draw upon your power. So great. Still You’d condescend O just to be a friend. O how can people not love Your… Salvation. Irresistible When my life irredeemable. Your victory. Now tangible When I thought sin insurmountable. Your glory illuminates And in me I anticipate. O please just let me go on… Showed me how to love my brothers And to not find fault in others. Showed me how to look for the physical need So I can plant the spiritual seed. Now I transcend through color And embrace all like brothers. It seems too good to be true, I know. But all that was missing was You. I’m so glad You’ve found me. I’m so glad You’ve found me. I’m so glad You’ve found me. And I’m so glad I’ve found You. 2001 John P. Redmon Music (ASCAP)/adm. by Reaching Records. All rights reserved.
