Story behind the song
the piano part for this song was literally written as i played it. granted it was waaayyy slower. for awhile i contemplated having drums, but i thought it was better for the song to have no real sense of time, just kind of flowing by itself. i don't think it would sound good with any particular rhythm even if it was just brushes. well, maybe with brushes.
i think the sound of the laptop whirring in the background is pretty cool too. maybe it's just me though.
