TRY TO THANK HER


Though there are times when I’m unhappy,  she still pulls  me  through 
All the way, then seals the cap.  She’s like so few.

Other women would have vanished when my needs grew tall,
But she never paused or panicked through it all.

I try every day to thank her for the yardage I have gained.  
She’s my blocker and my flanker,    guarding me from pain.

Should there ever come a chance, moment, time or circumstance when desired, I’ll be there,
Hoping always to provide loving comfort at her side, faithfully, beyond compare.

I try every day to thank her for her gentle healing powers
Have replaced my sullen rancor with the sweetest flowers.

Light of heart and open-minded, everything looks clear.  
Till she cured me I was blinded by my fear.

Now my outlook looms more brightly than it shone before.
