Wow, it's been a while. Last updated when I had been playing for 3-ish years. Been playing for almost 9 now, and it's starting to move in an entirely different direction musically. I've been influenced greatly by bands like Meshuggah, Periphery, Between the Buried and Me, System of a Down, more classic metal like Metallica, Pantera, Exodus, and to a lesser extent Animals as Leaders and Scale the Summit. The direction I want this band to aim for is a mix of math metal and progressive metal, or what's become known these days as Djent. Not sure if the name will stay the same, but that will come in time. So far we've got me, Kevin, on guitar/vocals, and Austin, a good friend of mine, on Bass/vocals. Still looking for a good drummer, preferably with a background in jazz and metal drumming. Another guitarist wouldn't be bad, either, as I'm not much of a lead player. Hope to post more stuff here that isn't just me covering songs!
