Story behind the song
Song was written while thinking about the things that make people give up on their dreams. It is meant to inspire people to rise again after defeat, failure or hardship.
Lyrics
Rise Again -Verse 1- Listen now as I confide I’ve been abused and criticized There’ve been times I’ve given in I’ve been down and up again Every step I take up hill Saps my strength and bends my will -Pre-chorus- But I wont fail And I won’t cry I wont give up until I die (Until I die) -Chorus- Let it Go We’re all a part of this You should know That we will rise again -Verse 2- Excuse me now As I describe How I’ve been used and victimized I’ve been so low I’ve been so high I slipped away and I held on tight Every moment drowned away The density beneath my faith -Pre-chorus- -Chorus- -Bridge- (Well we) Cry alone Scream at night Hate the darkness Cause we need the light Chorus -Coda – Rise again, again… I won’t give up until I die!
