Story behind the song
I wrote the lyrics about the struggles of Koori/Native Australians especially as I long suspected I was one of them. After I wrote this my mother said she had written a poem of the same name so I decided to record the whole thing together and approached a producer Jim Morley orginally. Now the song has just been reworked and rewritten.
Lyrics
"Aboriginal deaths in custody, this issue does disgust me, it's drawn out for far too long........"
