Story behind the song
Charlie was never taught to recognise 'walkies' as there's always some smart-arse who comes to your house and thinks it's funny to say 'walkies' to the dog. So he learnt the word my father uses to describe his sylvanian perambulations: 'bimble'. Mention a bimble to Charlie and he'd be up like a shot to wherever his lead was hanging up, looking expectantly up at it. You can bimble as much as you like now little man, without your lead!!
