Misses and Mystery is the songwriting/performing partnership of Rob Veith (vocals, guitar, bass, and programming) and Eshinee Smallwood (vocals, percussion, and keyboards). They have performed together as part of other bands and have released three albums independently. Diverse in their musical influences and erudite in their songwriting, a typical Misses and Mystery album features a mix of traditional folk, psychedelic rock, and jazzy improvisation.

Lyrics
Oh the little birds, they are flying near my window. I see them move as if within you. In so many words, I can almost hear your wind blow. I breathe you in and then begin to burn, as though I’d never tasted fire, begin to fall as though I’d never seen the ground, begin to yearn as though I could be satisfied until you find me aching, clinging to your timbre. All the little ways you mystify me in your fashion. I gauge what temperature you’re hearted. Dissipate the haze, I terrify you in my passion. If I could finish what we’ve started, oh you would burn, as though you’d never tasted fire, begin to fall as though you’d never seen the ground, begin to yearn as though you could be satisfied until you find me bleeding, clinging to your timber.
