Hailing from the South sides of Chicago Lyrisis is like no other female artist(s) that you have heard of in the past, present, or future. Lady in 2002 was nominated for best new underground female hip hop artist for the WCB (Windy City Battle) Awards .Although the local television show ended before she could obviously walk away with the award Lady remained undefeated during the duration of the show. ANYI is best known for her laid back delivery and her knowledge of what she says .Her name speaks for itself. In 1992 Anyi formed an all-female rap group called A Twist of Flavas. She has made several appearances at The Cotton Club as a solo performer. She is also known for her underground hit House Of Blood, however after a very successful Ladies Nite performance, Anyi co-founded what she believed would be the female rap group that would take the world by storm and set Chicago apart from not only other female MC’s but MC’s as a whole and that was Lyrisis Lyrisis has shared the stage with such honorable mentions as ED OG and the Bulldogs, Jurassic 5, Bahmadia, and LIl’Flip. As Rapp search 2002 1st place winners Lyrisis held it down and took it home as the only females to represent that night.
