In the words of James Taylor, It's me and my guitar. Always in the same mood! Then again, maybe my guitar is just humoring me - sigh -
Just me, I'm an old Folksinger that still plays out once in a blue moon. Thank you for listening to my primitive acoustic songs. I am a retired Army Bandsman, a certified Wall Wacker, and am currently a teacher. Next time I retire I am going back into Folksinging. It's the perfect occupation really, no hope of fame and fortune and definately keeps me humble. Folksinging just naturally makes me a better person I s'pose.

Story behind the song
Everytime I make a choice, I give up a million other choices. This is not a complaint or a regret, but it does acknowledge certain consequences.
Lyrics
I Love You From a Distance Charles W - T Consaul Instrumental Interlude 1. When I was young you were a star I could not hope to reach Your beauty was a wall to me I could not hope to breach I held you in my dreams Content to love you from afar Through fantasies so fragile Forced to life through what you are Afraid to let you know I was afraid to let it show Till all hope was locked away inside that fear Till anything I've done in life Has meant a little less Because I did not have the courage Or the strength to hold you near Instrumental Interlude 2. And now as my star falters Just about to leave the sky You seem to lend some light to me To keep me soaring high Were you always my bright angel Or just one that destiny Soars through my path of least resistance When it thinks I cannot see Now that I've confessed my folly Given fantasies their due I must hold on to another Honor her, to honor you Our love may not burn as brightly Through all distance and all time But I thank you for the honor And the Glory of the climb Instrumental Interlude
