Story behind the song
Where Morning Dawns is taken from Psalm 65. The opening lyric was just begging to be put to music when I first read it in the Scripture. I wanted to include this on the album because I think it holds valuable messages for every one of us. He hears our every prayer, and when we are overwhelmed with our sin he forgives and heals, and brings us near.
Lyrics
Where Morning Dawns (Psalm 65) Where morning dawns, and evening fades You call forth songs, of joyful praise O You who hear, my every prayer To you men come, from everywhere CHORUS: Singing, Hallelujah! My soul must praise When I was overwhelmed with sin You gave amazing grace O God of wonders, O God of grace Reveal Your kindness, show me Your face My soul is blessed, You draw me near I stand before You, in holy fear Daniel and Catherine Lovett © 2002 Reflect Music
