Story behind the song
This song started after I listened to the Instrumental for Nas' "Ether". His kick was so simple, and I wanted to make a song like that. Actually, I think it was a 9th Wonder beat, but that's beside the point. Anyway, I shifted attention from the simple drums with some melodious lead piano and strings. Once I did that, I was playing with the drums. As soon as they were finished, I knew the song was complete.
