Today I would say that Im more of a songwriter than a performer, although I do sing with a sixties rock and roll band in Denmark where I have been living since 1985. I was born i London but grew up in Lancashire somewhere between Liverpool and Manchester. I served my apprenticeship as a musician/singer in the Working Mens Clubs of Britain. Later I had a humble success with a band called Silhouette which involved touring the most of western Europe. Today I live with my wonderful wife, Trine on the island of Sjælland in Denmark (about an hours drive from Copenhagen) Please listen to my and feel free to comment.

Story behind the song
I was thinking Elvis or Roy Orbison when I wrote this song a couple of weeks ago. Yeah, I know...... but no-one told me they were dead! Anyway I´m sure I saw Elvis in my local supermarket the other day and bla...bla...bla....
Lyrics
Copyright © Andy Goggin 2005 Well you say you never meant to make her cry I don’t believe you boy, I think it´s just a lie But it doesn´t matter wha you say or do ‘Cos you hurt me when you made my baby blue. She cried all night and told me what you said (I want her too) Believe me friend I really wished you dead (What can I do?) You said you thought that I had been untrue And you hurt me when you made my baby blue. And we grew up together, two young boys from out of town We faced the world and made it all alone So you should know me better, I could never let her down How could you try to get her on your own? You said you thought that I had been untrue And you hurt me when you made my baby blue. And we grew up together, two young boys from out of town We faced the world and made it all alone So you should know me better, I could never let her down How could you try to get her on your own? I´ll get over that you lied right in my face (I lied it´s true) I could forgive the way you tried to take my place (I love her too) But the one thing that I really can´t see through Is that you hurt me when you made my baby blue. You know you hurt me when you made my baby blue.
