Guitar- and harmonica-playing busker from Bideford, Devon.
Patrick Beverley is a guitar-wielding busker, usually to be seen strumming away on the corner of some street in Bideford, UK. He plays folksy, rocky, bluesy songs, and sometimes, when in an adventurous mood, has been known to produce a harmonica and play said instrument.

Story behind the song
I like the unusual lyrical angle of this song - that of a man on trial who has not been wrongly accused, because he is guilty. That it invokes sympathy for the narrator nonetheless is evidence of my songwriting partner Jamie's gift with words. His lyrics for this remind me of Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska.
