Today I would say that Im more of a songwriter than a performer, although I do sing with a sixties rock and roll band in Denmark where I have been living since 1985. I was born i London but grew up in Lancashire somewhere between Liverpool and Manchester. I served my apprenticeship as a musician/singer in the Working Mens Clubs of Britain. Later I had a humble success with a band called Silhouette which involved touring the most of western Europe. Today I live with my wonderful wife, Trine on the island of Sjælland in Denmark (about an hours drive from Copenhagen) Please listen to my and feel free to comment.

Story behind the song
We follow a lonely alcoholic as he leaves the bar after closing time. We are privy to his some of his thoughts and feelings. Dale Kawashima from Songwriters Universe, Los Angeles, said about this song: "A well crafted pop song with an interesting lyric story. You´ve written a good, desciptive song about what it must feel like to be a lonely alcoholic on the streets. You´ve painted a good picture of the street scenes and general environment." Richard Jay from The Music Broker Network, said about this song: "The synth sounds are in the background behind the acoustic guitar and vocals. This lets the melody, which I like a lot, shine through - and forces the listener to focus on the song rather than the productin. This is actually quite a difficult thing to conciously do, so well done:)"

Copyright © 2004 Andy Goggin (ISA01) SUNG BY JAKOB LINDHARDT PRODUCED BY OLE BERG And so I walk these empty streets at night, It seems so right To crawl inside myself and close the door ´Cos I don't want to be here anymore Life´s just too lonely, when you´re the only Man like me. The harbour lights are getting closer now, I wonder how It would be to sail across the seven seas Would some far off place accept and set me free? Or on some fateful day, would they send away A man like me? For what kind of world is this Where children cry and drunkards kiss Hey father, won´t you say a prayer for me? For I´ve tried hard myself to pray But God´s not home, He´s run away And left this empty bottle on my knee. And as the morning sun begins to rise, It´s no surprise To find the world has turned it´s back again I guess it couldn´t stand to see the pain Of one more down and out, another living doubt A man like me And so I walk these lonely streets again, It starts to rain And wash away my sins and set me free ´Though I don´t want to be this tragedy Life still keeps calling, when you´re a falling Man like me. A man like me. A man like me.
