Lyrics
A ponderous thought man: What if the whole universe was just a speck of dirt underneath the fingernail of some scrappy alien...an alien child who built an antfarm, and we are all smaller than the ants in that farm. It's kinda like Elvis: yeah, we know Elvis died but somewhere he's still alive, yeah, still alive... Heavy man, think about this: what if we're not man? and what if humans don't exist? is this all that we see amiss? is this the only existence? Can we prove we never swung from tree to tree? can we prove we didn't come from one cell in the sea? can we say we never did believe we'd become what we are now, you and me? And what if all the scientists are right and we all came from some kind of monkey? would that explain why men are all the same, and why some people's family trees just don't have branches? Heavy man. Stew on this for a while, and smile...and walk a mile in space man, walk in space...did our fathers think we'd reach this place? Heavy man, think about this: what if we're not man and what if humans don't exist? is this al that we see amiss? is this the only existence? can we prove we never swung from tree to tree? can we prove we didn't come from one cell in the sea? can we say we never did believe we'd become what we are now you and me? Heavy man, think about this....
