Dale Haywood is a singer/songwriter from Colora, Maryland. After several cover bands and years of live gigs Dale decided to attempt recording his own songs. With the help of several friends, Dale has recorded a large catalogue of original music. His music covers everything from Country to Blues to Rock, but all of it has a heavy southern influence. Most of the recordings were created in his home studio and none of them would have been possible without the generosity and creativity of some very talented friends. Dale continues to write, record, and occasionally perform his music whenever given the opportunity.

Story behind the song
Mike Gilley and I were beatin' around a few ideas in the studio for a blues song and wrote it and recorded it in one afternoon. Pit Armstrong, another very talented friend of mine recorded and made a bunch of "We're just messin' around" tracks into a pretty decent cut. Nothin' fancy. Just an accoustic guitar, a dobro, my lyrics and vocal. If you listen close at the beginning you can hear my dog, Jake, giving an inspiring worn out soundin' groan to kick the song off.
