Story behind the song

It'd been a while since I'd written anything. One day I just had a couple of riffs in my head for some strange, alien reason, and sat down with my effects box plugged into my computer and played whatever came into my head, fitting the few riffs I'd already worked out into the mix. Don't ask me to play this song live the exact same way, I doubt I could, lol.
