I'd like to welcome everyone to my music. I have been writing and singing songs since I was 5 years old. I had the pleasure of growing up in a family where everyone played and sang. Family outings and campfire parties is where I cut my musical teeth! I have always been a country girl and will stay one. I have had the pleasure of opening shows for such great stars as Noel Haggard, David Ball, Alan Laney, Michael Huffman and George Molton. Please check out George Molton's music! He just got signed to a record label and he will be sailing thru your radio channels realsoon! www.georgemolton.com. Checkout my myspace. www.myspace.com/tammycassidy TLC

Story behind the song
I was sitting on the kitchen barstool with my guitar one morning. mom and I had been working on some songs when all of a sudden I just started singing this song. Mom asked where I had heard it and I told her I was just now writing it. She got the tape recorder and I just sangf the song. It was like I didn't even have to think about it. It sure has been a hit at family reunions and funerals!
Lyrics
"Lady of the House" (c)Tammy Cassidy I remember that warm sunday mornin When she closed her eyes one last time As they carried her out of her home I had just one thought on my mind Chorus She was the lady of this house Yes she was the lady of this house If she must go And I must stay She's still the lady of this house V2 For fifty-one years She lived on this land Went to church every sunday With a bible in her hand When we lost grandpa She kept goin strong She said trust in the lord And you'll never go wrong Chorus
