Christian punk/rock band...of DARK JUSTICE.
We're here to keep the city from breakin' down, Demons hit the road the Underdogs are out... out of control, the challenge on -- We ride like Fonzi from a Comic Con. Calling out squadcars join the fight, It's an army of darkness challenged by the light, So say your prayers, we'll say ours too, Except it's what we live for and what we wanna do.

Story behind the song
This song was born with a random sexy bass line and some improv guitar and drum action. We wrote the lyrics later that night, Mr. Mata and I. The first verse is talking about how we as individuals, basically I'm talking about my own experiences, are open to experience new things, yet most of the time laziness or lack of motivation beats that drive before it can get you out of bed in the morning. It causes you to have gnarly thought processes sometimes, and often may leave you more confused. You start to think about the "why" concept of things and it develops into the idea of who can be trusted and more "why" questions. If you haven't figured it out yet I'm speaking of finding Christ. These were some of the thought processes I went through before I became a Christian. Moving into the Chorus, "I don't need your satisfaction..." etc...I start to talk from my point of view speaking with an individual too egotistical or convinced with themselves that they will not give anyone the right of passage with anything concerning religion. I don't need their form of satisfaction, I've got my own -- I've got Jesus. I'll just get their on my own sounds almost negative, seeming to speak of someone who is selfish and not concerned with helping others find Christ. Really though, it's just short for a full more understandable statement necessary to be cut for the rhythm of the song..."I'll just get there (meaing Heaven) on my own satisfaction" is what it is supposed to be implying, reinforcing the point made about the first line in the chorus. Now the next lines "as long as you're walking..." etc, just give more of an image to the individual who will not even grant a chance to Christ, emphasizing, as stated earlier, an almost egotistical state of mind. The second verse is speaking of falling like a domino if you lack the knowledge of deciding whether or not you would be so willing to lose your soul over matters of self-centeredness. The third verse is fairly similiar, more or less relating more to the idea of relying on truth to build faith and keeping secrets from yourself that you know are best considered lies as hearing such would simply waste your time. It's relating back to the first verse, making a connection with the idea of secrecy and closed doors that simply get shut if they open. It's like when you know you are being told a lie, and you know the truth is the only thing to separate the certain falseness of a specific form of secrecy. It's probably read as a confusing concept, confusing myself a bit to be honest, but I know what I mean, and sometimes it's hard to get one's thougthts in writing. Anywho, last chorus, the add-on..."need some time, count to ten..."etc. Okay very simple yes, need some time to accept Christ? Note the ten commandments, and use them to get back on your feet again. Your past has nothing to do with being granted another oppurtunity to find God, but you cannot use the excuse of "such a thing would ruin my life habitually." That's a lie. Anyone can find a friend in Jesus. Classic rock even says so, and if you need someone to talk to on the matter -- try attending a church one find Sunday, and maybe speaking with a pastor, a friend, or someone else.
Lyrics
Open to ideas is my mind, I try to use my own but half the time, I wake up thinking all the way to bed. Sometimes it's so hard to use your own head. Thinking about the things that people say, And whether or not things should be that way. I wonder how, I often wonder why? Cause there's enough secrets, and twice as many lies. I don't need your satisfaction, I'll just get there on my own. As long as your walkin' you'll be talkin', As long as you know you you'll be known. If everyone was hypnotized, no potential for surprise, You'd rule the world, but lose your soul. Rule the world and lose your soul? Rule the world and lose your soul? Your life reminds me of a domino. I don't need your satisfaction, I'll just get there on my own. As long as your walkin' you'll be talkin', As long as you know you you'll be known. The thing about truth is that you keep it true. Maybe during class you slept. The thing about secrets, simple enough -- Is that secrets are meant to be kept. I don't need your satisfaction, I'll just get there on my own. As long as your walkin' you'll be talkin', As long as you know you you'll be known. Need some time? Well count to ten, To get back on your feet again. Your past won't deny you a second try, But you cant use habit as an alibi.
