Welcome to STARRCOUNTRY!!!
Hi and thanks for stopping in! My name is Jared Starr and I'm a songwriter looking for people interested in my music. It's mostly country and ranges from traditional to today's country. God has blessed me with a beautiful wife and two wonderful children. I believe there are many things that make a song, beginning with the writer and the lyrics and ending with the singer and vocals. It's a package that either works or doesn't. Whenever there is a connection where a singer gets the perfect song and breathes life into that song, it cannot be stopped. Music has no limits. There are no rules in songwriting, just guidelines to help keep you on the right track. Once again, thanks for stopping by my site and I hope you enjoy some of the songs I have written.

Lyrics
Verse 1 Growin’ up I used to ask all sorts of questions, The ones that lots of people still don’t know… Every time I’d ask my dad, he always knew the truth, To that bible on the table, we would go Chorus He knew every book, and always seemed to turn right to the page, And read to me the things the Good Lord said… Then he’d tell me how it went, with what I’d asked before, And every time it satisfied my mind, a little more… When I’d ask him, Dad how come that bible knows so much, He’d smile and say ‘cause it was written, by and about love… Verse 2 Now that bible’s on the table, still today, It’s been in my home since daddy, passed away… To this day it’s answering my questions, The answers come to life on every page… (repeat Chorus) Ending One day my son will have that bible, on his table, To learn about his Father, up above… And when he asks me, Dad how come that bible knows so much, I’ll smile and say ‘cause it was written, by and about love…
