I watched a midday movie, on my rather oversised TV, about a boy who loved a girl, she seemed so very much like me. She wanted to know he told her so, they kissed, and all I want to know is why (chorus) love stories dont come true and if they do it's never happened to me love stories are a lie they make me cry illusions of reality. I read a book today set in a place so very much like where I live, romanticaly the boy gave the girl all the love he had too give. He gave his heart right from the start, and all I want too know is why (chorus) I listened to a song by a girl, she sounded very much like me, she'd found true love and now she was able too be free. They never fight they were so right, and all I want to know is why. (chorus and a bit)
