I have been playing guitar since I was 19 (I got a late start). I've been lucky enough to have been in a couple of really good bands. One of the highlights (so far) was opening for Live and Lynyrd Skynryd at The Pensacola Springfest in June 2004.

Story behind the song
From time to time, the board members at ADA Depot (www.adadepot.com) will collaberate on what we call a "Jam". This was my submission for Jam #10 (a.k.a the "Rhythm Pigs Jam"). This jam was also a bit different from the previous ones in that the Rhythm Pigs (People who had signed up to played the Rhythm Guitar parts) had complete Carte Blanche; All we had was a tempo and a Key to play in. We were free to do WHATEVER we wanted within those constraints. Once that was done, the completed rhythm track would be sent to a Lead Player (known as Suckers this time) for them to work their magic. Then each section was sent to our resident Bass Player, Peter H. Boer, to put down some low end on it. And finally, once it was all compiled, a board member (SAN) enlisted a drummer buddy of his to lay drums down on the whole thing. On this particular track, I did everything. I played all of the guitars, played the bass, programmed the drums, and mixed/edited it all. All I sent in for the final track was my rhythm guitars, but this is what I came up with. This is not the complete track; this is only the part that I was involved in. To hear the complete song, as well as all of the other Jam Tracks, click .
