I am a singer/songwriter from Garner Texas, close to Dallas Fort Worth (Garner is the place where the domino game "42" was invented, That's Garner's only claim to fame that I know of). Story behind the song
Written to the love of my life while I was away on business for 2 weeks. Had this chord progression in my head for a while, I just sat and wrote the lyrics one afternoon in the hotel room looking out over the river walk across the street. I recorded this in my little studio just me and my Taylor, no overdubs, no second takes, live once through. Guess that explains the missed notes and the cracks in the vocals. :)Joe thinks I rush the vocals, I did that on purpose Joe. :)
