God has a purpose for each and every one of us. Our calling is to seek his will. Share with me on my journey to discover God in truth and reality. I dont pretend to have the answers, but Im sure having fun asking the questions. After all, if Gods wisdom is foolishness to man, then I think Id rather be a fool. Story behind the song
I wanted to write a song to tell about my wonder at God saving me from my sin. The song has under-gone some changes over the years to crystallise its message. You hear it here in its rawest form with a live recording of just me and the guitar.
Lyrics
Who could ever see? Who could comprehend? He hung upon a cross our sins upon his back. And who could ever tell that life could live after death, And that we could be victoriously saved! Never before in history has any other loved so much. Giving his children freedom to decide the path of life to tread And he’s watching when we stand. He’s there to break our fall. He listens when we cry. He hears us when we call. Who could ever see? Who could comprehend? He hung upon a cross our sins upon his back. And who could ever tell that life could live after death, And that we could be victoriously saved! In the beginning time stood still as Adam took that fatal fall. First of our kind to turn away, To hide the shame of what we’ve done. And he’s watching when we stand. He’s there to break our fall. He listens when we cry. He hears us when we call. Every thought every word every action every breath. Every time we turn away he waits to see us back. God gave us his son because he loves you and me. The only sacrifice! The blood of Calvary! Who could ever see? Who could comprehend? He hung upon a cross our sins upon his back. And who could ever tell that life could live after death, And that we could be victoriously saved! And who could ever tell that life could live after death, And that we could be victoriously saved!
