Songwriter of pop songs and ballads. No bull shit!
My name is Gart, I am a songwriter. I write pop songs and ballads. Not much of a singer myself, but hopefully someone with a good ear for potential, who happens to be looking for new songs to sing or to promote, will find my work interesting. Feel free to contact me!

Story behind the song
This song is about Lucho, my former lover, who died from Aids in 1994 at age 40. Lucho is buried near Lima, Peru, his home town.
Lyrics
Time has made me your brother When I used to be your lover I search my inner source for reasons But all I find is you I still see you in my dreams Reaching out to me it seems If I could hold you one more time I’d gladly give you ten years of my life If it would make a difference CHORUS All the things we said and all the things I did I never knew your heroes till it was too late And all the things we did and all the things you said I never knew your sorrows Late at night alone in bed Until the great mistake You never made You couldn’t see me in the mirror I couldn’t show you who I am Just a mortal’s thought for lust and prayer Too dense for us to understand You’re a stranger in a strange town In a land that let you down Move around with tubes and needles in your body If only I could turn back time I’d change your mind and make a difference CHORUS All the things we said and all the things I did I never knew your heroes till it was too late And all the things we did and all the things you said I never knew your sorrows Late at night alone in bed Until the great mistake You never made Bridge, repeat Chorus
